UV 3D Container Dryer
TMI Serpent UV dryers are designed for high speed drying of containers and 3D objects that require rotation to cure UV inks on a print surface that is not flat. Custom grippers on a heavy duty conveyor system easily and securely grasp the object, carrying it a short distance from the press to the drying chamber. As the object passes through the shielding into the chamber the gripper is automatically turned to allow complete exposure to the UV lamp and reflector system.

TMI UV dryers run extremely cool allowing curing of a wide variety of materials. A 300w mercury lamp in a special reflector has 3 power settings, and the speed of the conveyor is infinitely controlled with a Baldor DC motor. A separate control module offers a range of features including output power selector, ampmeter, realtime output and power draw, lamp hour accumulator, and emergency stop. The conveyor has a manual advance in case of emergency shutdown.
Our standard model will hold most bottles or small objects, and provides 23 holders on a continuous belt loop. Our engineers can customize dryer length, gripper size or lamp quantity to create a dryer that will meet the challenge of curing UV inks on difficult surfaces.
